Service Description

Middle and High Schoolers! Grades 6-12th Do you love the Lord? Would you like to be mentored and trained to be a leader in our community? Joshua 1:9 loves to be a light in the community by offering various classes and events that help teach good morals and values in our community. This summer, we volunteers to help assist and potentially teach Outdoor Education Classes, Archery Tag Classes, Lego Challenges and a variety of Elective classes at Summit and our new Tuesday Electives Community called Compass! Would you like to join the fun and volunteer in these classes by assisting the teachers? If you would like to meet with friends 1-2 times per month to be mentored and trained how to be a confident leader, and then practice your leadership skills at various Joshua 1:9 classes and events, then please consider joining this new Leadership Training Team for grades 6-12! We may collect $35 per family or person to help cover food during our meetings, L.I.T. -shirts or hoodies (that will be worn during classes) and to help cover other expenses for this new leadership program. Please sign up here for classes that you are interested in helping with this summer for Joshua 1:9 : https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090C4FA9AB2AA6F49-volunteer Once we know who is on the Leaders in Training team, we will set up our first meeting on a date that works for everyone, so that we can start training you how to lead the various classes you are interested helping with. I hope you join the team!
