Summit Homeschool Community is exclusively for enrolled students and families, however; Joshua 1:9 also offers Archery Tag and drop off programs (Compass Homeschool Community, Outdoor School and more!) which are open to everyone! Many of our students participate in both programs, and it's an amazing way to connect and make friends outside of our classes.
Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable, but they will be applied to your tuition costs. Deposits are due with each student's registration to hold their place in a program or class.
For Basecamp, Traverse, and Ascent, the deposit is $150 per program.
For Summit Seekers, the deposit is $50 per class.
After submitting your online registration and deposit, You will have access to the remaining balance link through our Band Page or just ask your director for the payment link. The remaining tuition balance is due by July 15th deadline. Payment plans may start 4 months or earlier to July 15th.
Refunds and Reimbursements
The deadline to apply for a partial refund is August 1, 2024. No refund will be provided after this date.
There will not be reimbursements for classes that are missed for any reason. Classes will be offered on Zoom if virtual classes are necessary.
We do not offer any reimbursement, since as a small non-profit, we run due to amazing volunteers and employees who are promised pay based on enrollment. When people cancel, this jeopardizes the program's sustainability. In most cases, new prospective students have been turned away due to our programs already being filled.
Please consider these restrictions before making your payment.

For our younger students in Basecamp and Traverse, we do request parents to stay in class. We find learning alongside our students, as parents, allows us to re-enforce the material taught at home throughout the week.
For Ascent and Summit Seekers, we only need 1 parent present each week to support the Guide, so students can be dropped off for the day. We love to have parents on campus!
For Compass Electives, parents are scheduled to assit the instructor 1-2 times per quarter.
Siblings of Basecamp students may sit quietly in the class with a parent, as long as they are not distracting any students in the classroom. If they are distracting they will need to be in the childcare program. Materials and supplies are not provided for younger siblings in class.
Younger siblings of Traverse students should be enrolled in childcare or Basecamp. Parents should plan to participate in class with their Traverse student to be familiar with the English Grammar and IEW class material.
